I got to meet my hubby in St. Louis after visiting my family in Oklahoma. We met up to attend a worship conference put on by Bifrost Arts. While we were there we got to do a good bit of site seeing, which was a much needed vacation for the both of us! We visited the SLAM (St. Louis Art Museum). I fell in love with this piece by Tejo Remy. It’s called: “You Can’t Lay Down Your Memories” and you can learn more about it HERE.
Life and Design will go on hold for a while as I travel to Oklahoma to go to my granddad’s funeral. My granddad’s father played fiddle during the depression to make ends meet. Even thought he was baptist and it wasn’t permitted, his family looked the other way while he earned some extra cash. I post this song, Red Wing, in honor of my granddad, as it was one of the favorites that his own father used to play. This is a beautiful version, by The Steel Wheels.

I re-designed and revamped Trinity Presbyterian Church’s website. I took a template that they already used and created a more professional look and more comprehensive organization of information. It was a cheap and friendly way to help out my church! Visit the site HERE.

I need to remember this today. Seize the Day!
I struggle with worry and I dwell in those thoughts too easily. But Philippians 4:6-8, tells us “Do Not Worry” that we should dwell on good things instead of on our worry. I have been blessed with so many good things. I wrote this song about all the things I worry over and about letting them go. The end of the song is my mantra to dwell on the good things, on the pure things, on the humble, worthy things. I wrote this song a few weeks ago and performed it at a woman’s retreat. This is just a scratch recording, enjoy!
